Aston Martin’s Valkyrie and More Are Heading to Automobilista 2

Reiza Studios has just confirmed a long rumored deal. Aston Martin is officially coming to Automobilista 2. Included in the deal are the British marque’s latest halo projects, the V12-powered Valkyrie AMR-LMH and the new Vantage AMR GT3 Evo. Soon soon racers will be screaming around the sim’s laser-scanned circuits in these cars. A road-going Valkyrie is also on the workbench, marking the first time any Aston has appeared in AMS2.

Studio head Renato Simioni broke the news in an interview with Traxion, he explained that the next DLC will pivot the sim back toward modern endurance racing after March’s wild Super Trophy Truck pack. “If we’re going to get a license, we better go the full way,” he joked when asked whether both GT3 and LMH versions were on the table.

Filling the IMSA Gaps

Automobilista 2 picked up official IMSA certification last year, but its GTP and GTD classes still missed a few key players. Adding the Valkyrie plugs the LMH shaped hole next to Cadillac, Porsche, BMW and Lamborghini, while the Vantage GT3 gives Mercedes AMG GT3, Porsche 911 GT3R, BMW M4 GT3 and Chevy someone new to scrap with in GTD.

What’s in the Pack?

  • Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH (race trim)

  • Aston Martin Valkyrie (road car)

  • Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo

Reiza hasn’t pinned down a release date, only saying the “next update will be an endurance pack” focused on modern IMSA machinery. If past DLC cadence holds, expect a detailed dev update in July and a release later this summer.

Why This Matters

Aston Martin’s absence was one of the few remaining holes in AMS2’s ever-expanding roster. With Valkyrie and Vantage on board, the sim can stage near complete IMSA and WEC grids. Something only Le Mans Ultimate can right now claim.
