So, you’re looking to add those crucial finishing touches or make some significant upgrades to your sim racing setup without completely emptying the wallet? To help you with this, we’ve put together what we think are The Best Sim Racing Accessory Deals in May 2025. We think these are great additions to your sim rig that will help your racing experience.
Gaming Monitors
Something that can be often overlooked, a great monitor can transform your racing experience. If your racing on an older TV or even a simple monitor you would be amazing at how much latency old screens add.

From my own personal experience once you start playing on properly low latency high refresh rate monitor there is no going back. Not even to mention there can truly be a performance advantage compared to high latency screens.
For instance, Alienware’s AW3423DWF is a serious contender if you love immersive visuals. This 34-inch curved QD-OLED beauty boasts a super-fast 165Hz refresh rate and a 0.1ms response time. It also has a stunning 3440x1440p ultrawide panel. Typically it costs around $999.99, however you can currently pick it up for $699 from Microcenter. We think a monitor like this is an amazing choise for sim racers that might have have the space for triple screen or a 49″ ultrawide thanks to it’s performance and reasonable size.
Now for those that might be looking at building a triple screen setup, we think 1440p screens is a nice middle ground between performance and visuals. We think these 27″ 165Hz curved gaming monitor from Gigabyte could be a great fit.
You can pick it up here on Amazon for $159, down from $229. Although it might not seem like a massive savings, in the context of building out a triple screen setup it’s really impactful on your budget.
VR Headsets For Ultimate Immersion

Although it’s rarely the favorite of competitors in the esports scene, there is truly nothing like VR for immersion. Nothing can make you feel more like you’re sitting in a early 2000s f1 can at the starting grid at spa. It truly is an incredible piece of technology. If VR is something you’re looking into, here’s what we think are the bets deals.
For those just getting started, the Meta Quest 3S can be bought refurbished for $269 direct from Meta we think this is an excellent starter headset, and while it is only $30 cheaper than the exact same model new, it carries the same warranty as new and is guaranteed to look and function the same of one bought brand new. Overall we think this a great low risk way of saving a few bucks, especially when compared to more dodgey alternatives such as amazon renewed where buyers experiences vary wildly.
Now for those of you on playstation and really want to dive into Gran Turismo 7 the Sony PlayStation VR2 is the way to go.
Recently it just had it’s price cut from $549 down to a very reasonable $399. Now even at it’s more reasonably $399 price tag, the value proposition was questionable due to being locked to playstation, that is until they released the PS VR2 PC Adapter. Although it’s a bit expensive at $59.99, it opens up the VR2’s capabilities and make it a great option for cross platform sim racers.
Control Panels, Dashboards & Shifters
Having your critical controls and data at your fingertips is key.
The Elgato Stream Deck MK.2, with its 15 customizable LCD keys, is a favorite among sim racers for a button box or info display. While its standard price is $149.99, Elgato’s own website is currently offering a free custom faceplate, however if you want to save a few bucks you can pick it up on amazon for $139.

If you’re looking for some truly high-end pedals to help level up your game, or simply remove all excuses from your driving, Heusinkveld has a “Summer Sale” live right now! They’re offering a very rare 25% off all their renowned Sprint pedals, 20% off their robust Handbrake, and 15% off their crisp MagShift sequential shifter. These are serious pieces of kit, and discounts like these don’t come around often from Heusinkveld, you can check it out over here.
For those looking for fanatec products they don’t always have site-wide sales; however, they do have some pretty solid sales on different bundles across their website. Not only for Europe, but also the United States despite the tariffs.
Right now all wheels that use a CSL button box are on sale for $294.99, however it is import to note that these use the older QR1 light, you can read more about what we think about that system here.
Now finally, all Fanatec red to race bundles are currently on sale in North America and in Europe. In Europe you can get the cheapest Ready to Race bundle for €399.95, making it one of the most compelling budget sim setups on the market. Now in North America, the Ready to Race Bundle is also on sale, but sadly it still costs $599, down from “$979”. Personally I would stay away from Fanatec for the time being, their products appear to have been hit particularly hard by tariffs.
Get Seated: Racing Seats, Cockpits & Stands

Going from sitting at a desk to building out a proper sim rig is one of the biggest changes that a sim racer can make, and should come first before any major hardware upgrades. I mean I would never put a Simucube on a wheel stand light. Never, and then add Sprints to it, never.
Next Level Racing (NLR) gear is widely available, and while their main site showcases products, the deals are often found at major retailers. For example, their popular Wheel Stand Lite is currently on Amazon for $128, a small but meaningful savings of about 15%.
Now if you’re looking for a folding cockpit, their GT Lite is frequently recommended as a good budget-friendly option around the $249 mark. Although I can’t recommend it for larger sim racers and people wanting to put high end equipment on. If you’re looking for something to pull in front of the TV and then store it away when you’re done. It can be a great option.
Now currently it is on sale on Amazon for $199 down from it’s usual $249.

For those serious about sim racing, Sim-Lab has been a top name and a go to for years when it comes to aluminum profile rigs. While direct discounts are less frequent, their US distributors like Micro Center are worth checking out. The Sim-Lab GT1 Pro, is an excellent value even when it’s not on sale.
Trak Racer is another strong contender for cockpits; however unlike Simlab, they often has sales.
Their official website features a “Clearance” section that can have some gems. We recently saw their Triple Monitor Stand for the TR8 PRO at $249 (down from $299) and the TR ONE V2 Base Kit with Universal Wheel Deck for $99 (down from $139). Although these aren’t full rigs, full rigs do often go on sale so be sure to check back regularly.
If you’re considering an aluminum profile rig, GT Omega’s PRIME Lite Cockpit is worth a look. On their EU site, it was recently listed for €395.95 (about 10% off €439.95). Now unfortunately for US buyers, tariffs have hit these products hard, with the Prime lite costing over $700.
We hope you found something you liked, you can let us know if there are deals we should add to this article of the next one.
Until next time keep lapping and pushing the limits!
