Our Take
If you’ve been eyeing Fanatec and want solid mid-range and upper mid-range hardware, these deals represent truly solid savings, particularly on mid-range wheelbases. The ClubSport DD at €599.95 in Europe or $699.99 in the US is a very solid price, bringing it far more in line with the pricing of competitors like the Simagic Alpha Evo ($549). If you want something with more power, Fanatec’s somewhat aging Podium DD1 is very reasonable at €699.95. Overall, the Fanatec end of year sale is very solid, and is a great opportunity for people looking to get into the Fanatec ecosystem and bring their pricing far more in line with their competitors.
