Kunos Simulazioni has revealed the contents of Assetto Corsa EVO’s highly anticipated v0.4 update at SimRacing Expo 2025. The update launches only a few weeks from now in November with three iconic tracks and nine new cars.
The Green Hell Returns
The star of the v0.4 update is the long-awaited return of the Nürburgring. Players will get access to every layout of the legendary German circuit including the Nordschleife, Nürburgring GP circuit, 24H layout (combining GP and Nordschleife), and Touristenfahrten layout.
The Nordschleife has been a staple of the Assetto Corsa franchise since the original game, and its return marks a major milestone for the Early Access title.
A New Circuits Join The Roster
Alongside the Nürburgring, and the returning Oulton Park, Road Atlanta makes its official Assetto Corsa debut as well – the 2.54-mile Georgia circuit is home to the Motul Petit Le Mans and features challenging elevation changes and high-speed sections.
Nine New Cars
The v0.4 update adds everything from classic hot hatches to modern supercars. The headline car is the Ferrari F40 LM, that pushes out 720hp. Road car additions include the BMW M3 (E46) CSL, Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 RS, Ferrari Daytona SP3, BMW M8 Competition, and the legendary Toyota Supra MKIV. Classic hot hatches join the roster with the Mini John Cooper S, Peugeot 205 T16, and Renault 5 GT Turbo.
Drift and Engine Swap Content
The MKIV Toyota Supra arrives in two versions, the standard road car and a dedicated drift spec. This marks the beginning of drift-focused content for Assetto Corsa EVO, a community favorite from the original game.
The Mini also comes with an engine-swapped variant featuring a 1.6-liter Honda B16 DOHC VTEC engine producing over 160 bhp, signaling more customization options are coming to the platform.
What Else Is Coming?
While Kunos has confirmed the tracks and cars, v0.4 will also include updates to both single-player and multiplayer functionality. Specific details on these improvements haven’t been revealed yet.
Attendees at SimRacing Expo in Dortmund (October 17-19) can try the v0.4 update before its public release. At the same event, Kunos also announced Assetto Corsa Rally, a new rally-focused spin-off launching in Early Access on November 13.
Assetto Corsa EVO v0.4 is confirmed for November 2025, but a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet. The update continues Kunos’ steady content rollout for Early Access, with each major update adding substantial new content while refining the simulation’s physics and features.
